Overview

Family Behavioral Health Court (FBHC) is a juvenile-based voluntary program that seeks to enhance public safety by providing appropriate mental health treatment to children and youth in the juvenile justice system. The focus of the court is to promote protection and safety of the community, the juveniles, and their families, by providing individualized treatment plans for juveniles in need of mental health services. The court will establish connections with community-based organizations and family support systems that previously were not being effectively utilized.
